Coverage Area

The coverage of your LED grow lights will depend upon the mounting height of the bar. Your mounting height will be determined by the light requirements of your plants as well as your plant's access to natural sunlight or other forms of artificial lighting.

Determining the idea distance to mount each LGM grow light will require some trial and error on your part. The LGM5 light bars need to be at least 18" above the top of the plants. Further is better. We have clients who use the bars up to 5' from the plant canopy.

Because the LED Grow Master bars use the wavelengths of light that are most efficiently absorbed by plants, the light source is extremely potent. Putting the bars too close can result in the same symptoms you see by moving an indoor plant into direct sunlight outdoors.
