NCW-Stealth Reverse Osmosis
This filter produces up to 200 GPD (gallons per day) ultra-pure, low PPM water. It removes 98%+ of chlorine & contaminants. This unit wastes approximately 25% less water than other RO systems. Everything is included in the box for quick hook-up. Customized for gardening & hydroponics.
The Stealth 100 uses a new, patented, RO membrane technology, not an ultra or nanofiltration membrane. It is a standard thin film membrane (TFM) style that is not tolerant of chlorine. Like all RO membranes pretreatment of the inlet water is essential to maximizing the membrane life. Prefilters should be changed every 2-4 months to ensure maximum life on the RO membrane. The Stealth 100 comes with a pre-sediment filter, for removing large particles, and a carbon for lowering the chlorine level in the inlet water. If these prefilters are replaced regularly then the membrane should be checked once a year.
