Eco-Hydrokorrels
Strong pebble structure doesn't crush. Also known as Grorox, grow rocks, hydroton, and leca. Both hydroton and hydrokorrels are created in a similar manner from clay.

There are, however, some differences in appearance as you can see in this photo. HydroKorrels have a darker color and randomization of shapes and sizes than does Hydroton. It looks more natural, thus more suitable for decorative plants in buildings use. The terra-cotta like color and the smooth uniform shapes of the Hydroton media looks manufactured rather than natural. Aesthetic quality of course makes little or no difference if you are growing vegetables in a hydroponics setup.

This highly porous growing medium is used to fill plant baskets and container gardens and provides good physical support for roots. Hydrokorrels are kiln fired for perfection and measures between 8 and 16 mm to fulfill the widest range of planting applications.

Perfect for all hydroponic applications.
Add to straight Perlite or Peat for added weight and stability.
A 45 liter bag fills:
  • (650) 2 in. cups
  • (165) 3 in. cups.
  • (33) 6 in. cups
