RC-Coco Fiber Brick
Coconut pith fiber is great for starting seeds and is used to replace peat moss. It will hold water and nutrients without the concerns of dramatically lowering the pH of the medium.
Use it to make your own soil. Add 5 quarts of water to one brick to yield approximately 1/3 cubic feet of pith fiber. Set of six bricks for $15.00.
It is itself slightly acidic and ranges in 5.2 to 6.8 pH.
