We recommend using a compact 150W or 250W lighting system or a 2 foot Jump Start Fluorescent Grow Light System (if indoors).

The upper growing chamber fits into the reservoir, partially submerging the grow rocks. A full-length airstone and external air pump continuously supply oxygen to the reservoir. Capillary matting surrounds the grow rocks and keeps medium moist and helps deliver nutrient-rich water to the starter cubes on top of the system.

It has a very attractive modular design that allows you to connect multiple units together as you expand.

The Homegarden System utilizes 2 planter baskets with drainage slits incorporated into the design. The bottom reservoir holds the water and liquid plant food.
