Perlite is a volcanic rock that has been heated until it explodes into small, porous, white particles whose inert, water retention qualities and pathogen-free properties are ideal for use in hydroponics. It can be used loose, in pots or bags, or as part of a mixture.
Perlite is a lightweight soilless grow substrate that holds up to 70% airspace when fully saturated. It provides a porous and sterile medium for hydroponic or soil improvement.
One of the most ideal grow substrates alone or excellent in custom blends.
This product allows soil to have better drainage capabilities. Add accordingly. This is a great growing medium for hydroponic carrots, onions, radish and other tubular and bulb type plants that need a 12-inch depth for proper growth.
Available in small bag size for $5.95 or 6 cubic feet size for $29.95.
Note: Shipments limited to North America only.
