RC-Coco or Coir Fiber
Coconut pith fiber is great for starting seeds and is used to replace peat moss. It will hold water and nutrients without the concerns of dramatically lowering the pH of the medium.

Unlike rockwool, which is an inert material, it has organic properties that make it a superior root media. It even has its own natural fungicide which tends to repel harmful bacteria and fungi while allowing fungi to thrive.

Because it is a more porous material than rockwool, it holds water and oxygen better. This allows roots to move through it easily. Coco Coir can also be recycled, sometimes as often as a dozen times, making it more convenient and cost effective.

Use it to make your own soil. Add 75 quarts of water to one 4.5 cubic foot compressed brick to yield approximately 5 cubic feet of pith fiber. It is itself slightly acidic and ranges in 5.2 to 6.8 pH.

Note: Shipments made only within continental US, Alaska or Hawaii. Extra shipping charges may apply for Alaska or Hawaii residents. Please email support@hydroponicsfarming.com before ordering.
