Mistaponic Cloner: An innovative concept for propagating cuttings- cloning.

The system is modular and achieves an amazing level of seedling germination providing a new and more profitable approach to cloning management. It can also be used for water-loving plants such as lettuce.

The compact RECTANGULAR Mistaponic Cloner is a production unit, easily tabled (only 9 inches tall) and accessible. It will clone 30 x 2 inch net pots at a fraction of the cost of other equipment. Unlimited units can be linked to an external reservoir for mass production. By adding nutrient to the water solution, growth can be carried on after the roots are well established. The smooth transition from the cloner to growing equipment increases immunization and neutralizes any transplant shock thus shortening the total Hydroponic cycle.

UNIQUENESS

Experiments show that by starting the feeding immediately after the first roots emerge, immunization and seedling strength are increased. Young plant experience minimal shock. The unit mist generator, spinning at 3000 RPM feeds the growing chamber with a mixture of pressurized oxygen and solution. The patented slight pressure virtually forces the cutting to root.

Misting roots and cuttings, instead of spraying or irrigating, virtually breaks the water down to its molecular level, adding pressurized oxygen to the solution and making absorption easier. Fresh air is supplied from outside the machine using a filter to minimize contamination. No more clogging of sprinklers, no external lines, pumps etc. It is a truly self contained human friendly unit.

The Design

The Mistaponic was designed and tested for the past 7 years as a multi purpose system. You may start with one module to suit your present cloning needs and grow according to your future needs. When using multiple Mistaponic modules, they may be linked to an external reservoir feeding solution by gravity. Solution can be brought to the optimal temperature on each unit separately to suit the specific crop in question with a heating element (optional). When the ambient temperature is higher then the required for a specific cutting, by activating the mist generator more often, the temperature will drop up to 20F under ambient temperature.

For propagating cuttings or growing seedlings until ready to move to your hydroponic production equipment, this system is ideal. The mist generator compresses oxygen into the growing chamber and mist periodically (controlled by a 96 activation timer- supplied standard) resulting in the highest level of oxygenation attainable in the root area. A wall separates the growing area from the water compartment. Water flows back to the water compartment through special openings at the bottom of the separation wall, thus water is constantly in motion with no added pumps and sprinklers on the bottom of the growing area that will interfere and tangle with roots.

The Patented Mistaponic Cloner Model MC will be the last cloner you ever buy! Each unit filters the air with a carbon filter prior to pressurizing the unit. The air pressure and lack of pump heat produce the fastest and best cuttings you have ever seen. It forces less than a 6 micron particle of solution to each and every cutting. This is much different then the abrasive streams of water in the other units available on the market.
