AH-Perfect Pots
They are great for soil and hydroponics for several reasons. There are 4 medium size drainage holes in the bottoms of the pots. Water is able to get into the pots through these holes and the media will become saturated to the flood level of the tray.
You will need to add the medium, such as expanded clay pebbles, nutrients such as the AA-Pureblend Pro - one part, stand alone hydro-organic nutrient for growth or bloom or the AH-CropSpecific Formulas. Other nutrients also may be used, and possibly pH calibration tools and chemicals.

The square 8.5" x 8.5" x 7.5" high Perfect Pot is deeper than the average hydroponic tray. The media above the fill level of the tray will become moist from the capillary action of water. This works well with any media, even grow rocks.
